Casio has unveiled its new PRO TREK Smart WSD-F20 watch, an outdoor smartwatch with Android Wear 2.0. The followup to last year’s WSD-F10, the new model comes with button guards and a new protective bezel. In terms of functionality, the big news is the addition “low-power GPS,” which is able to track location without having to download map data. Alternately, users can download detailed, full-colored maps directly to the device for offline use. Notable features include “Location Memory,” which offers a one-button location read-out, as well as “Moment Setter,” which allows users to pre-program notifications so that they’re alerted to stop for a water break or prepare for sunset. Finally, Casio promises more than a day’s worth of battery life, and up to a month if the watch is used only in timekeeping mode. Look for the watch to hit stores on April 21.
