Set to make its debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition takes on a sleek and slightly menacing aesthetic, taking on a matte black paint job complemented with subtle metallic grey accents. Inside the cabin, drivers will find bright yellow contrast stitching on the seats and center console, as well as Protonic Frozen Black lettering on the doorsills. Aside from those cosmetic tweaks, the car will remain unchanged on the mechanical front, which means power comes from the same combination of a 1.5-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor driving the front wheels, resulting in a combined output of 357 hp. Expect a release later in 2017.
