Situated in the Catskills, roughly 100 miles north of New York City, is Hudson Woods, a cabin enclave comprising 26 individual properties designed by NYC-based Lang Architecture. The structures reinterpret the design language of a traditional cabin dwelling, featuring locally sourced materials with modern technologies that promote sustainability, including a high‐efficiency hydronic heating system and passive solar energy. Customers can choose between two basic layout options that can be fully customized with pre-selected materials, like white oak for the interior walls and bluestone that’s sourced on site. The individual cabins reference Scandinavian mid-century design, sitting on lots that range in size from 2.7 to over 10 acres.
