Through its Yard Built program, Yamaha offered the Deus workshop the opportunity to create a custom bike and sidecar combination, and the result is this striking Deus Ex Machina Yamaha XV950 D-Side Motorcycle. The vehicle, based on a Yamaha XV950, has a design that takes inspiration from vintage boats, complete with a wooden deck at the rear for extra baggage capacity. Unlike most sidecars, this one features contemporary styling, with a modern suspension setup and an “all torque” V-twin. Since it’s a Yard Built bike, there was no cutting or welding involved. The custom rear frame raises the height of the artificial suede Alcantara seat, and there’s a rack in between the sidecar and motorbike to hold your surfboard.
