The South African outfit known as Alu-Cab has carved for itself a distinctive niche in the automotive world, specializing in custom Land Rover Defenders that double as campers. Equipped with a built-in tent up top, the Defender Icarus also contains a fold-away stove, along with an outside kitchen with storage space for assorted pots, pans, cups, plates and the like. There are also bright Lumeno lights arrayed inside and out, all individually controlled, and there’s interior access into the aforementioned tent, which comfortably fits two.
