JUNCTURE

2018 BMW M3

The 2018 BMW M3 will arrive with subtle cosmetic revisions that follow a 2015 update, one that saw the installation of new taillights on the compact sedan. This time around, the only obvious exterior changes are seen on the front end, featuring altered headlights with LED light bars that connect the lights to the signature kidney grille. The only other change is a minor one that only extremely keen eyes will notice — namely, a discreet update to the the illuminated M3 logo on the driver and passenger seats. Everything else remains unchanged, which means that it’s the same twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six engine under the hood, good for 425 horsepower, and an optional Competition Package that boosts the output to 450 horsepower. Expect the updated 2018 BMW M3 to hit U.S. showrooms in July.
