The BMW x Lego Hover Ride Design Concept originally began as a collaboration between Lego and BMW Motorrad, resulting in a 603-piece BMW R 1200 GS Adventure kit. The kit is what’s referred to as a 2-in-1, in which the same set of Lego pieces can be used to create two finished models. One, of course, is the the R 1200 GS motorcycle, and the other is the futuristic Hover Ride, a concept that spurred BMW Motorrad to craft to craft a full-scale model. It may not be a functioning concept, but it’s still awesome, featuring a front wheel that becomes the concept’s propeller, along with traditional BMW Motorrad elements like the boxer two-cylinder engine. The Hover Ride Design Concept is currently on display at Lego World in Copenhagen, Denmark, before it heads to Norway and its eventual resting spot at the BMW Group Research and Innovation Center in Germany.
