Launching this month are the Casio PRW-6100Y-1B and PRX-8000YT-1B Pro Tek watches, the latest additions to the brand’s versatile and technically equipped lineup, specifically made to handle any outdoor activity. First up is the PRW-6100Y-1B, finished in basic black with a black IP stainless steel bezel, STN LCD display and a carbon fiber insert band. Features include Tough Solar power, Multi-Band 6 radio-wave timekeeping and Triple Sensor Version 3 (alti-barometer, compass, thermometer). Its counterpart is a new entrant to the PRX-8000T Manaslu series, named after the eighth-highest mountain in the world, first summited by a Japanese expedition in 1956. The blue accents on the PRX-8000YT-1B, along with a blue deposition layer on the edge of the sapphire crystal, are meant to evoke the color of the sky just before dawn and after sunset. Features include 100-meter water resistance, Tough Solar, Multi-Band 6 and Triple Sensor Version 3, as well as a DLC-coated titanium metal band that can be slide-adjusted up to 6 mm without the need for any tools.
