Described as the brand’s most accessible Ducati naked, the 2017 Ducati Monster 797 motorcycle is sporty and compact, featuring an air-cooled Desmodue engine housed in a tubular steel trellis frame, putting out 75 hp at 8,250 rpm and 50.8 lb-ft of torque at 5,750 rpm. Handling, an integral feature of the Monster heritage, is enhanced with a 193kg weight, as well as wide bars and a low seat. There’s a standard Bosch ABS safety feature, which works in tandem with a front braking system utilizing two 320 mm Brembo discs gripped by two Brembo M4.32 radial calipers. The Monster 797 is also available in a Plus version, showcasing a distinctive look with enhanced standard equipment, including a flyscreen and passenger seat cover.
