Set to make its debut this week at the Geneva Motor Show is the Brabus Mercedes-Benz 550 Adventure 4×4², and thanks to the tinkering of the after market tuning specialist, the three-ton truck is treated to a significant power boost. The twin-turbo V8 engine, previously good for 416 bhp and 450 lb-ft of torque, is now capable of generating for 542 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque, resulting in a 0 – 62 mph sprint time of 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 130 mph. Brabus wasn’t satisfied with simply tuning the engine, however — the beast was also beautified with light bars and a hood scoop, as well as an interior draped in Mastik leather and high-quality Alcantara. An adjustable suspension, alongside a front bumper guard and winch, round out the details.
