Making its debut at Baselword 2017, the Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive Professional Diver 1000m watch is big enough to turn heads. Simply put, the case is gargantuan, measuring 52.5mm in diameter and 21.4mm thick. It’s also the most water-resistant light-powered dive watch ever made, able to handle water pressure up to 1,000 meters, as the name suggests. The case is made from “Super Titanium,” featuring a new twist-to-lock mechanism for the rotating bezel, and hands and hour markers finished in a luminant finish that’s said to be 2.2 times the afterglow brightness of conventional paint, even after 5 hours. Retailing for $2,300, the watch is expected to launch in summer 2017.
