JUNCTURE

Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Project Concept

Debuting at this week’s New York Auto Show is the Nissan Rogue Trail Warrior Project Concept, which takes the 2017 Nissan Rogue and transforms the truck into a machine that chews up sand or snow, thanks to a set of giant tracks from American Track Truck, Inc. They measure 4 feet long, more than 2 feet tall and 15 inches wide, requiring modified wheel wells and suspension. The drivetrain components remain unchanged, however, and under the hood is the familiar 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine, good for 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Helping the truck to maneuver through snow banks or sand dunes are tinted headlights, custom fender flares, ARB Gear Basket, LED lights and a Warn 4K winch.
