Designed and developed by engineer Graham Powell, the Whippet Bicycle is a new patent-pending British folding bike that places a premium on style and comfort. It features a classic diamond frame design that utilizes a twin oval tube arrangement for a strong and safe build that provides a comfortable ride, as well as a clever new folding solution. Instead of a typical hinged fold, the Whippet undergoes a tilt, tuck, and tidy process, one that requires absolutely no tools. Because it’s so slim, folding reduces the bicycle to less than 30% of its original volume, and it can be easily transported by rolling the bike on its rear wheel when folded. Pre-orders for the Whippet will begin later this year.
