Located in a rapidly developing neighborhood in the town of Yongin, South Korea, “A” House was built by GEBDESIGN to allow the owners to interact freely with neighbors while maintaining a strong sense of privacy and ownership. The structure has a white stucco-laminated exterior made of steel-reinforced concrete with a slab deck, topped with a gable roof. The height of the main space spans all three three stories, letting plenty of light into each floor, which bounce off walls finished in vinyl paint and floors covered in laminated marble tiles. The house’s various architectural components, including the walls, doors, window frames and stairs, were all customized on site to complement the dominant white color palette of the house.
