At its WWDC 2017 keynote today in San Jose, Apple announced the new iMac Pro, an all-in-one desktop loftily billed as the “most powerful Mac ever.” It arrives in dark grey and features “workstation class performance” with an 8-core Xeon processor (and up to an 18-core Xeon processor if you’re willing to shell out the extra cash), Radeon Vega graphics and up to 128GB of memory. You can also upgrade to 16GB of VRAM and up to 4TB for SSD storage, and you’ll be able to attach two 5K displays alongside the built-in 5K display. Apple says that the iMac Pro will ship in December with prices starting at $4,999.
