While the brand will always be associated with the state of Oregon, the recently launched Nike New York City headquarters sees the Swoosh bolstering its East Coast connections. Spanning six floors of an office tower in midtown Manhattan, the 147,000-square foot-space includes open-space “freestyle” offices, alongside various conference rooms fitted with custom ceiling tiles made up of recycled materials from Miniwiz. There are also a library, fitness studio and wellness rooms, as well as requisite food and beverage areas. The main attraction has to be the 4,000-square-foot indoor basketball court (with seating up to 400 spectators), followed closely by a rooftop terrace featuring green plants made to form a large Nike Swoosh.
