The Singer Reimagined Track 1 watch is the first model to come out of a new venture from Singer Vehicle Design, the L.A.-based company that’s best known for “reimagining” the Porsche 911. The chronograph, inspired by classic stopwatches from the ’60s and ’70s, features a 43mm grade 5titanium case, dome sapphire crystal and a sophisticated and extremely unique movement, dubbed the AgenGraphe caliber. It reverses the layout of the traditional chronograph, featuring a central chronograph display and a peripheral time display, arranged through two concentric circles around the edge of the dial for hour and minute indications. The chronograph is graduated to 60 hours, versus the regular 12 hours, allowing for an unusual 60-hour timing window. A “launch edition” of the Track 1 is limited to just 50 units.
