The Fall/Winter 2017 collection breaks new ground for the Japan-based outdoor brand. Made up of classic silhouettes built with technically advanced materials and construction techniques, the garments are designed to handle the harsh conditions of the great outdoors, while also accommodating the transition between urban and rural environments. The overarching design ethos is military-inspired, with the collection at large split into three distinct and innovative capsules: “Transit,” featuring fire-, water- and insect-resistant textiles used across a range of down and rain jackets; “Camp,” distinguished by durable materials executed on silhouettes that include down jackets and vests, as well as floral-print quilted bombers and indigo pullovers; and “Dwell,” comprising comfortable styles like wool/linen blend jackets and trousers, treated with quick-drying and anti-bacterial properties.
