Billed as an evolution of what an e-bike can be, the Flash v1 e-Bike packs a number of features that makes its safe, secure and smart. A 500W rear hub electric motor that boasts four pedal-assist levels is powered by a 36V 11.6Ah lithium ion battery pack, enabling a top speed of 28 mph and a range of up to 50 miles per charge. A touchscreen dashboard embedded in the downtube offers real-time data — like battery charge level and speed and pedal assist level — while an accompanying mobile app provides turn-by-turn navigation and keyless operation. You also get LED headlights, 360-degree running lights and turn signals, as well as three layers of security: a movement-sensitive alarm, alert notification and GPS tracking. Available in charcoal, white and silver, the bike is expected to ship in early January 2018.
