This summer sees the launch of the IKEA STUNSIG Limited Edition Collection, featuring artist collaborations that showcase a variety of bold patterns and prints on a series of everyday items, including cushions, quilt covers and porcelain objects. As for the contributors, there’s French artist Frédérique Vernillet, who harnesses her ultra-realistic illustrations to depict wild animals and colorful birds; native Californian Malcolm Stuart and his playfully vibrant images; the Paris-based duo of Pinar and Viola, contemporary leaders of avant-garde image creation; Steven Harrington of Los Angeles, a leading light in the modern Californian psychedelic-pop aesthetic; Stockholm-based Team Hawaii, famous for their trademark collage illustrations; and Tilde Bay of Copenhagen, who makes everything from artistic dresses, to digital prints. The STUNSIG collection is available now at select IKEA locations.
