Made for the biennial charity auction Only Watch, the Laurent Ferrier x Urwerk ArpalOne Watch features a classic car-inspired case design, built with an ultra-durable alloy called Arpal+. The material, originally developed for the electronics industry, is composed of an amalgam of precious metals, making it resistant to fading, oxidation an scratches — more so than steel or white gold. The UR5.03 movement inside is self-winding with a 48-hour power reserve, while the display has a rotating satellite configuration. A hand-stitched leather strap in an understated sand-colored finish completes the look. The watch will be sold by Christie’s in Geneva.
