Drawn from the brand’s extensive archives, the new Red Wing Heritage Irish Setter Collection is inspired by the historic #954 Irish Setter hunting boot from the 1950s. Named after the unique reddish orange color reminiscent of the Irish Setter dog breed, achieved by tanning leather with the bark of sequoia trees, the 9-inch lace-up boot was originally made for bird and deer hunters who had to trudge through dense woods and marshes. The new collection features the 9875 6-Inch Moc Toe ($320) and the 9866 Pecos boot ($340), both featuring Gold Russet Sequoia leather and a unique Red Wing wordmark embossed on the inside quarter of the boot. A traditional Irish Setter label on the inside of the tongue rounds out the details. Find the boots available now at select Red Wing Heritage retailers.
