If you live close enough to the beach that you can leave the truck in the garage, then you’ll need something like the Shore Ride board carrier to lug your gear. The Shore Ride is essentially a trolley with neoprene paneling that wraps around the top and bottom of your board or kayak, and then tightens in the middle for a secure fit.
