Named after the German automaker’s fastest 911 ever, the Porsche Design Chronograph 911 GT2 RS is the first timepiece in brand history to feature an in-house constructed movement, dubbed the Calibre Werk 01.200. Three years of development went into the COSC-certified movement, which includes innovations like load/stress optimized bridges that make the chronograph extremely lightweight, along with a rotor specially designed to resemble the magnesium wheels of the 911 GT2 RS. Similarly, the 42mm-wide titanium case houses a carbon fiber dial, adorned with a wide vertical strip using Porsche’s actual “GT Silver” metallic lacquer paint. Retailing for approximately $11,740, the watch will only be available to owners of the 911 GT2 RS.
