Billed as the fastest and most powerful production Bentley ever, the 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports packs a 6.0-liter W12 engine, good for an impressive 700 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque. The power boost comes courtesy of higher-capacity turbochargers and a revised intercooling system, along with a crankshaft and connecting-rod bearings that have been beefed up to handle the power upgrade. The result is a 0 to 60 mph sprint time of just 3.4 seconds, ultimately topping out at a max speed of 209 mph for the coupe and 205 mph for the convertible. Additional performance upgrades include a lowered and stiffer suspension, 16.5-inch carbon-ceramic brakes up front and 14-inch versions in the back, and an optional titanium exhaust system that will reduce the curb weight by ten pounds. Finally, the car’s distinctive look will be emboldened by a new body kit, which includes a carbon-fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, along with side sill extensions.
