With the Range Rover Classic Reborn, Land Rover is offering a few lucky customers the rare opportunity to own a like-new edition of the original Range Rover. Land Rover will refurbish just 10 of the archetypal SUVs, restoring them with authentic period-correct parts and offered with a factory warranty. The first model to get “reborn” is this three-door 1978 number, finished in a resplendent Bahama Gold paint job. Under the hood is a Buick-derived 3.5 liter V8, fitted with Zenith-Stromberg carburetor and good for 132 horsepower. Unsurprisingly, these restored beauties won’t come cheap: pricing begins at £135,000 GBP, or $170,000 USD.
