The Studio D’Artisan D1712 Memphis x Zimbabwe Cotton Fiber Jeans features a unique hand feel that comes courtesy of the fabrication blend. The 15oz unsanforized selvedge denim is constructed from a 50/50 combination of Memphis cotton on the warp and Zimbabwe cotton on the weft. Memphis cotton is known for its rough and stiff denim, while Zimbabwe cotton is known for its long fibers, making for some of the softest denim around. Blending the two results in a denim fabric that’s prone to intense fading and immediately ready to wear. Cut in the brand’s SD-307 slim-tapered silhouette, the jean is finished with concealed rivets, SDA-branded hardware and a signature cowhide patch.
