Built as a hobby project by E-Class engineer Jürgen Eberle, this one-off Mercedes-Benz E-Class All Terrain 4×4² is the ultimate luxury off-roader. It rides on the portal axles of the G-Class 4×4, with ground clearance raised to 16.5 inches that allows the lifted E-Class to wade through 19.6 inches of water. There are also carbon-fiber wheel extensions and 7.8-inch wider tracks, along with body cladding and flared fenders, all enabling the vehicle to live up to its all-terrain designation. Reception to this insane one-off has been positive enough that there’s talk of taking the E-Class All-Terrain 4×4² for a limited production run.
