With the introduction of the 2018 Range Rover Velar, Land Rover resurrects the “Velar” moniker, which is what the original Range Rover prototype was called back in 1969. To date, we don’t know much about the vehicle, except to say that it will join the Range Rover lineup in between the Evoque and Range Rover Sport, in terms of size. It sports a panoramic sunroof and is said to be built on the same aluminum-intensive platform of the Jaguar F-Pace. We’ll know more when the 2018 Range Rover Velar makes its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1st.
